How it works
1. Give the AI the manual. Share this link with your assistant: fightimer.app/ai/routine-skill.md. It's written for AIs — the exact routine format, every technique the app can shout, and worked examples. If your assistant can't open links, paste the document's text into the chat instead.
2. Describe the drill. Sport, rounds and lengths, rest, and what you want barked at you — which techniques, how often, fixed moments or random surprises. Say it like you'd tell a coach.
3. Ask for the FTR1 code. Assistants that can run code will hand you a code starting with FTR1. — that's the whole routine. If yours can't run code, ask for the routine as JSON, or use our one-sentence builder instead.
4. Import it. In the app: Presets › Import, paste the code, done. Importing codes is a Pro feature.
A starter prompt
Copy this, swap in your drill, and send it to your assistant.
Read https://fightimer.app/ai/routine-skill.md and build me a Fightimer routine: boxing, 5 rounds of 3:00 with 1:00 rest. Random jab, cross, and hook callouts every 10–20 seconds mid-round, and one SPRAWL surprise per round. Check it against the doc's self-check list, then give me the FTR1 share code.
Built something good?
Codes are made for sharing — send one to a teammate, or post it in the Fightimer Discord's #routine-share and steal what other fighters are drilling. Curated routines live on the preset hub.
